I met this sweet new mother several years earlier when she would often babysit the children of a close friend. The kids loved when Maggie would come over, so I already knew that she would be a natural when she became a mother herself. Needless to say, I was so excited for this baby session! When the day finally arrived, I couldn’t have asked for better weather. I wish all of my sessions could be on evenings like this. It was a gorgeous fall evening, and our session was along one of Bloomington’s popular walking trails.
Upon first glance at this little angel, I was smitten. He was so incredibly adorable with his chubby little cheeks and THOSE EYELASHES!!! Momma was gorgeous and had hair that we dream of! She chose perfect fall outfits for herself and her precious little baby boy.
Being a photographer that loves unposed images, I was able to capture so many genuine moments from snuggles with momma, to toothless little smiles, to blowing raspberries, to my favorite…hand dimples. Of course, I cannot forget to mention…those incredible eyelashes. I could have happily photographed these two all evening, but was also so excited to get home to start editing.
