Originally a southern girl, I moved to Indiana in my twenties. Ive been married to the love of my life and BFF since 1998. Scott and I are parents to two awesome sons and a golden hearted, golden retriever who’s love is as abounding as the mountains of fur she manages to shed daily. Aside from photography, I love interior design, great coffee and spending time outdoors… sunrises and sunsets are where it's at for me! When it comes to photography, making my clients feel extra special is as important to me as capturing beautiful images. This ultimately, allows for more genuine and less contrived captures. If you feel comfortable enough to crack jokes around me, I consider this a win. If I walk away from a session with a new friend...icing on the cake!

At home, Nespresso brews life into me morning, noon or night!  However, visiting local coffee shops with Scott is pretty special.  There is just something that warms my soul when it comes to coffee art and my husband...

What started out as a silly act of a child, ultimately took me on the journey of becoming a photographer.   One evening, while visiting with our Mamaw and Papaw on their Kentucky farm, I thought it would be funny to sneak up behind my little cousin and snap a picture of her while she was fishing in their pond. As it turned out, I unknowingly captured a beautiful golden hour image, with fantastic composition of a child in what was a completely honest moment in time. I didn’t know it at that time that this is what I would ultimately do professionally and unfortunately, didn’t figure it out until my children were teenagers. Oh how I wish I had!  I do have wonderful memories in my head along with very unprofessional images to serve as reminders of their childhood though. As they grew older, I was blindsided with the reality of “where did time go?”  I thought of that image of my cousin and being the creative thinker that I am, I decided to take the leap into professional photography and not lose anymore of those heirloom moments… for my family and for my clients.
